You can submit a fraud or merchant dispute directly from your Brex dashboard. However, there are a few instances where you won’t see this option available.
The transaction is pending
A transaction needs to fully process before you can dispute it. While the transaction is still pending, there’s a chance that the vendor won’t approve it. If this happens, the charge will drop automatically.
The transaction is on someone else’s card
For security purposes, only the owner of the card on which the transaction occurred can dispute it. If the transaction wasn’t on one of your cards, please reach out to the card owner and request they submit the dispute.
It’s been over 90 days
Transactions that took place over 90 days ago cannot be disputed.
