How can I request a higher account limit?

We understand there may be months you need to spend more than your account limit allows. There are a number of ways that you can request a higher account limit. Please reference the relevant section below.

Account limits are dynamic by design and are adjusted on a regular basis depending on your company's spending patterns and cash balance.

Option 1 - Update bank data


If you currently have an existing bank connection with Brex, it may need to be reconnected. This will ensure that we have the most up-to-date picture of your finances and can adjust your account limit appropriately. If you are having issues reconnecting, please read I'm having issues connecting my bank account to Brex.

If you don’t currently have a bank connection with Brex, you can send us your most recent bank statement instead. Please reach out to our support team so that we can provide you with a secure link to do so.

Option 2 - Link an additional bank account to Brex


Connecting another funding source to your Brex account will increase your aggregate cash balance, thus increasing your account limit. Please read How can I connect an additional bank account to Brex?

Option 2 - Connect your sales platform(s) to Brex


By giving us read-only access to your sales platform, we will be able to obtain a clearer picture of your net 30 day sales, thus giving you a more accurate account limit. Please reach out to our support team to ensure that we have access.
