Onboarding guide for employees & AP clerks

Welcome to Brex and congrats on your new corporate card!

This guide will walk you through the setup process to ensure that you're getting the maximum value out of your Brex account. This guide is for employees and AP clerks that have been invited to join their company's Brex account. If you're an admin, please see the relevant articles instead:

Step 1: Get started with your virtual card

Upon logging into Brex for the first time, you'll automatically be issued a Brex virtual card. You can use this card right away by clicking Card on the left side of your dashboard and selecting the virtual card. Click the card numbers to copy them to your clipboard.

If you use Apple Pay, Google Pay, or Samsung Pay, add your virtual card to your mobile wallet by following these steps.  

Step 2: Request your physical card

You should also have been given the option to order a physical Brex Mastercard. If you weren't prompted to do so, you can issue yourself a physical card by following these steps. Your card can be shipped anywhere within the United States, and will arrive in 5-7 business days. Once it arrives, go ahead and activate it.

Step 3: Manage your spending

You may have been given a user limit by your the account admin, which you can check by reading How can I see what my user limit is and how much I have spent?. Your monthly limit will reset on the first day of the month.

As you begin using your Brex cards, you can attach receipts and memos to your transactions within seconds! Please read the instructions below:
