Can I add my bookkeeper to my account?

Yes! You can add a user with the Bookkeeper role, which will give them the ability to see and export your transaction history on both the Card and Cash accounts. A user with the Bookkeeper role will not be able to send money out of the Cash account.

Important note: Card Admins will only be able to invite a Bookkeeper if Cash has not been enabled on the account. If your company has a Cash account, only the Cash and Card Admin will be able to invite a Bookkeeper.

Step 1: Expand the Team tab and click on Users and cards on the left-hand side of the Brex dashboard

Step 2: On the top right, click on Invite user

Step 3: Enter the requested information and select the Bookkeeper role

Step 4: After clicking on Send invite, the user will receive an email invitation which will instruct them on how to activate their account

If your Bookkeeper manages multiple accounts on Brex and already has an account, your Bookkeeper will need to use an email alias. If they use Gmail or Outlook, you're able to send a second invite to the same email address by adding a plus sign (+) and an additional character(s) after the plus sign but before the domain name:

example+yourcompanyname@email.com

Using the example above, example+yourcompanyname@email.com will be treated as a new user at Brex, but all the emails that are sent to example+yourcompanyname@email.com will be received at the original email addresses inbox (example@email.com). This way, the Bookkeeper will be able to have multiple Brex user accounts with the same email address, by using different aliases.
